Can insurance companies grant health care for all

More at therealnews.com n the second part of our interview with Deborah Burger, Deborah explains why nurses are supporting HR 676 as the solution to the health coverage problems of the US. Deborah explains how the inclusion of private insurance companies in the provision of health care has created the problems that the US has, that other countries do not. For this reason, Obama’s plan cannot resolve the problem as it does not remove the insurance companies from the picture.

The “criminals in Washington,” really? Hey get a clue. Those “criminals” you refer to just did not drop out of the sky from a UFO. OK? They were sent there by the people. Dumb, incredibly stupid, fantastic, brillient or whatever someone else may call them, they were nevertheless sent there by us, the people. Never forget this. Calling all our representatives criminals, and calling our president a tyrant, is nothing by treason! Nothing more.

Nobody wants it? Is this what you truly believe? Well, buddy, you are dead wrong. How can you possibly say that? I want it. My wife wants it. My parents also want it. Sure, you yourself may not want it. That’s your right to believe what you want. But just don’t lie! Don’t you dare sit there so god damned smug and assume you can say what it is that I want. And assume that if I want something that you do not, that you have the right to make your decision for me. So, don’t say nobody wants it.

Kill the 3000 pg Illegal HC TAX & JAIL Trojan Horse Mandate Bill nobody wants..
Kill the bill..
Vote em out..
Nobody wants it..

What we need is a single transactor system–an agency that stands between providers, patients, and insurers to enforce standards and create the infrastructure necessary to discover and deploy more preventative medicine. Insurers can be stopped from cherry picking and have to compete on standardized coverage. Poor providers would show up fast and avoid a great deal of legal issues. The database of records would allow faster discovery of preventative measures. It sets a better course.

Very wise solution, thank you very much.

That would be my wish also.

The powers that be love to see us divided it works well for them.

As an independent thinker, you can chose a solution for each problem as it presents itself. In history I have admired democratic solutions, and so I pointed out how people with different points of view can come to an agreement. My wish is that people will awaken to the classic ‘preserve the majority consensus, but dictate to the majority’ propaganda technique that has failed, and question more than just healthcare because (I am also American) it will not change until we act in solidarity

I gave you a thumb up but I must ask you this.

If I think with an independent mind what does that make me?

Just wondered.

Peace, Truth and Knowledge

If the For Profit Private Health Insurance Industry didn’t have so much fraud, corruption, greed, and weren’t in the business of price gouging, ripping off, and short changing people. We probably wouldn’t have this heated debate about health care reform.

“If you become a doctor in order to make more than 100k a year, then maybe you should do something else.”

You are 110% correct. This underscores what USA has become…A bottom line country.

But, health care should not be decided by the criminals in Washington. It should be decided at the state level, forcing people too look and participate in their local government/community.

Dear Democratic Friends! Please write your President Obama and demand that the “public option” plan is the ONLY plan we will accept. Do NOT believe the scare tactics the GOP are spouting! Private insurance companies have had plenty of time to lower costs and all they have done is compete with each other to raise prices while people are DYING! We elected President Obama and we must hold him to the fire on this issue! Our majority depends on it! God Bless & Have A Great Day!

If you saw SICKO, then you realise that government-paid doctors in the U.K. make a good buck for their services. And they don’t have to worry about getting paid by their patients. If you become a doctor in order to make more than 100k a year, then maybe you should do something else.

If you are a conservative, then providing for the health of America appeals to your patriotism and morals, if you are a liberal, then restricting influence and waste of the privatized healthcare appeals, if you are socialist you approve because it improves the workforce. Only corporatists could be against it and corporatism=fascism, a black hole where we talk about it and still screw the people.

Rep=stupid ppl

Care to elaborate past a single sentence?

because it has been demonized by Republicans and Big Biz boys club. THEY want ALL our money… They have zero interest about the actual well being of the public. We are just the cash cow for them .

From the previous sentence it is clear that you do not understand either what socialism or hypocrisy mean…

and a business community that spreads propaganda decrying socialism but which in fact socializes risks and privatizes profits. it’s pure hypocrisy.

HR 676 is pragmatic.

global public health system should be a must, a right for the human race!

And their doctors are moving here because they aren’t making money in the communistic health care countries.

In that sort of system, I would encourage my child to study managing a McDonald’s then become a Doctor.

you got that right brother!

America and most Americans are very stupid when it comes to this topic. I doubt most of them get it. And I speak from being an American.

“Socialism” is a dirty word here…unfortunately…In spite of our having a socialized police and fire force…Americans have trouble with this word….

Socialism kicks ass. The countries that have universal health care spend far less than we do on health services, and have a higher standard of living than America.

really
I wouldn’t know the “capitalist” around here don’t have any CAPITOL
