Aren’t we all delighted to know our health care dollars are now circulating all over the Halls of Congress, paying outrageous sums of money to lobbyists, making sure we do not do the right thing for the American people? Public programs such as Medicare and Medicaid and the Veterans’ Administration are administered for far, far less than private health insurance. Let me conclude by saying that I understand that the power of the insurance companies and the drug companies, the medical company suppliers–the medical equipment suppliers–is so significant, so powerful that we are not going to pass a single-payer, Medicare-for-all program. Profit in private insurance accounts for 2% of total spending on health care. It is disingenuous to blame “profit” for the high costs or to believe that the gov. will make any positive improvement by eliminating the “profit motive”.
The system itself is what is forcing prices higher each year. We need to allow employees to take their health care benefits out as cash, tax free, and put them into a Medical Savings Account. That way THEY have the $ and hospitals have to be honest about price.

I was soo impressed with this video. It was the first time I’ve heard of you. So I started viewing your other videos and wow, what a dissapointment, you’ve just tanked. You see it’s this polarizing crap hurts america. But it’s what ALL talk show hosts have to do or they loose ratings, loose their show, and loose their million dollar incomes.

Many excellent points. Most astonishing was that medical problems are responsible for 62% of all bankruptsies in America. I’m definately goint to subscribe. I’m a conservative, I believe in the invisible hand. I believe in individual responsibility. I believe we need to erase ALL the advantages given to everybody by Uncle Sam ESPECIALLY to big corporations and the banking industry. After that, then we can talk about implamenting social programs such as Universal health care (with a deductable).

Hey Frank, I dont agree with social programs to the extent you do, but I love your spirit man. I agree with your coporate corruption issue, but what about us as a people having consumer power as a right. As it stands, there is no real competition for insurance companies. The govt policies dont allow state-state sales. Why not allow the people to have the power of their dollar create competition. You never hear “car insurance reform now!”, because there is competition.
Good you show Bernie blasting Pharma. Know what the biggest industry besides Oil (Exxon Mobil) and Banking (JP Morgan Chase) is for Rockefeller? Pharma. They invest heavily in it. They’ve got Nazi ties to IG Farben (the Nazi chemical company that still operates as Bayer, the symbol for IG Farben is a handicapped person in a test tube, look it up in Google images). Monsanto of course has their dirty hands in that, and our food supply. It’s all private corporations ruinig it all, NOT governments.
