Health Insurance Profits Booming with $1.6 BILLION Paydays!
So, now that United Health (NYSE:UNH) CEO Dr. William McGuire gets $1.6 BILLION dollars worth of options (NOT including salary), I guess we all have an idea of where all our rising health insurance premiums have been going, and I don’t think it’s in rising healthcare costs. It is kind of amazing some “people” think health costs are like buying a car or any other commercial proposition (eg: all the insurance co-sponsored posts on Youtube by varying “people”). You can plan to buy a car or a house: it’s your own responsibility and your money allocation–but you can’t plan a medical affliction. Not the same. I simply note one anti-health plan person on Ytube had her two fave videos as a) a revolver shooting into a tank, and b) a clip of Milton F’man on “Greed”. True!!
You forgot to mention that this 1.6 billion dollar pay out was after he was found guilty of making1.1 billion on a back dating stock option scandal. Then, he gets rewarded w/ a huge golden parachute. He should have been rewarded with a trip to the big house.
We need to keep McGuire’s story out there so we end end the health insurance cartel’s hold on America.

great show!! my premiums went from $1325 for me & wife to–get this, $2650 monthly thats over $32000 a year after a on the job injury which left me disabled. Great COBRA plan!!
While I have sympathy for some doctors I don’t think we should let the medical cabal off so easy. We could have our HMO CEO’s work pro bono and premiums would still be high because services are high. The medical cabal could simply refuse to deal with insurance companies if they are so evil. But then the hospital parking lots would probably not be full of Jaguars and Lexuses and BMW’s.

Doctors, many times, are caught in the middle of the demonic drug companies/cartel, greedy ins. bastards, and TOTALLY SHADY FDA. NONE of whom give a crap about humans nor human life.
