@jacofall7 - at least you can see the error of your ways! There are others who will stick with their party regardless of the kooky legislation rammed through congress. I’m not saying you had much of a choice in ‘08 as the GOP produced a horrible alternative to BO.
The auto insurance comparison is bogus. You have to buy it if you choose to drive a car. The forced health insurance is required to live in the US. FUBHO.
I’m waiting for the day (and it won’t be long) where Obama makes it mandatory to buy automobile insurance even though I don’t drive and I don’t own a car. This plan is unconstitutional and Obama and the Democrats could care less. Obama is a SOCIALIST and SOCIALISM is here.

@TheGraceofChrist The penalty is under the IRS Code sections 7201 & 7203 with you can search easy under those words. Up to 5 years a $250,000 for willfully evading taxation. All penalties will be collected by Treasury/IRS.
Go look on U-tube for more clips of King HUSSIEN talking about jail time. I voted for this scumbag. I am starting to like Limbaugh all over again. Uggh it makes me shudder just to think of it.
HR3962 page 303, lines 18-21 for the tax paid to the IRS (aka what people are calling a fine) it’s estimated it will cost an average of $1,800 per person (depending on income). I can’t find the penalty for not complying.
Americans wont tolerate fines/taxes for being unable to buy insurance either. Wake up!!!!

What about this: A person is on the health plan, goes to the doctor, and the doctor prescribes something improper like Prozac, Ritalin, abortin, vasectomy, electroshock, flu vaccine, RFID chip “to streamline medical records,” or some new concoction containing who-knows-what. The patient refuses it. The government kicks him off the plan, saying that refusal of “treatment” will make him sicker and cost more money. Now, with no health plan, they put him in jail until he accepts it.
you know that highly-touted provision saying that insurance cos can’t turn you away for pre-existing conditions? that’s gonna mean higher premiums for all. That’ll hurt those healthy 20 somethings who will have to pay a bundle for health. And yes there is a penalty for not paying. First $ then up to 5 years in jail. Debtors prison anyone?
I did not hear President Hussein Obama say that he agrees with jail time; or hear the words come out of the President mouth that he agrees with jail time for those who do not pay for their insurance premiums. I heard Rush say jail time if we do not pay our insurance premiums…….I did not vote for Rush. And even if President Barack Hussein Obama did say jail time; he does not write the legislation; Congress does.
and I’d like to point out that Rush is very clever at editing audio to make it appear as though Obama was responding directly to questions about Jail time…penalties do not necessarily imply one will be imprisoned..hahahah
Well out here in California we have to have uninsured motorist coverage along with the regular liability coverage. Bottom line is that we all are going to pay for insurance in one way, shape, or form. I think relieving the the burden of insurance from those who work and shifting some responsibility onto those who do not work seems ok…but then again…what about those who can’t work…how do we deal with them?

You have to have insurance on your car b/c you can hurt other people while you drive. everyone in the goverernment should go to jail for theft. no choice is communisiam at its best.
