NOBODY wants a LW Pis-losi whipped TAX & JAIL TROJAN HORSE MANDATE Bill devoid of any HC in it.
You CHUMPS already KNOW the BATTLE is to get the CASH COW…THE CASH COW is the YOUNGEN MEAT in the system as a MANDATE…THEY are worth thousands of OLDENS…The INSURANCE companies have devised a hillary plan that cloaks the MANDATE with distractions like abortion and gun control and the like, just to HIDE THEIR INTENT TO SLIDE IN A LETHAL DAGGER to redistribute your property to cronies.
@TheAgnosticInfidel Ok so you rather have rationing of care for those who need it most like senior citizens, and government bureaucrats saying what care you can and can not have?
This quotation from a business leader in 1928 still seems to mesh well with modern conservative philosophy:
“The best public servant is the worst one. A thoroughly first-rate man in public service is corrosive. He eats holes in our liberties. The better he is and the longer he stays the greater the danger. If he is an enthusiast — a bright-eyed madman who is frantic to make this the finest government in the world — the black plague is a house pet by comparison.”

Private health care costs are projected to be the main driving force behind the long-term budget short fall because of the corresponding increase in medicare and medicaid costs . If we were to employ a single-payer sytem like most of the developed world employs then we are actually projected to run surpluses.
@Bobertoq right on..
Terrific. This puts the case for single-payer succinctly and in a fun way. Thanks!
@SamBuchser Hi Sam, there is no direct “backing up” of paper money(or the two digital money types) with, let say gold, since a long time now. The current monetary system works quite different and i promise you, if you will figure it out how it really works you might get a decent vertigo. If you are willing to figure it out, ask yourself the question what money is and where it comes from. Might sound like an easy question but it’s not for sure. have a nice day
You forgot Roads. But Otherwise Great Video!
Are you sure that you are satisfied with government services? When was the last time you went to the post office or the DMV?
If the cant government do its job now, when your life isnt directly effected by the buracracy in a urgent sence, what makes you think they can do it any better with more work?
Your last example isnt an actual example. Because thats called homeowners insurance ^_^, we have that now and for some reason, that isnt universal.
This sounds so much better than the paper I am writing for my history class about health care right now. I really do agree with every point that you have made in this video. Kudos to you; this is amazing!
Good video. Good points. I am poor. I would benefit from free health care. I would probably live longer. It’s definitely wrong for this country though.
Obviously the gov’t will have to cut spending in some places and raise taxes by a wee bit for some people. What’s worse? 1/6 Americans are uninsured and 45,000 die each year from lack of health care, or some rich people get their taxes raised?
well where does that extra money come from that the government gives to health insurance? I’m 17 and figure this out. you can’t just print money willynilly. you have to have backing behind it, because if it doesn’t, it’ll take the backing from the already circulated money, and lower the value by each dollar, raising the prices of everything and anything.

I love your video, it have hit the proverbial nail on the head! There really is no good reason for the US to not have universal healthcare but somehow the fear mongering has been more than effective, what a shame!
Money is useless, My chiropractor knows this and sends a quite a few patients out without even charging and he does just fine for himself. Now thats how health care!
Canadians are smarter than Americans about health care. They pay about 10% of GDP whereas Americans pay about 17% of GDP on it, and over 46 million don’t have any health care. EmperorProzen seems completely ignorant about pre-existing conditions. And Americans are actually subsidizing Canadian health care because Americans stupidly pay much more for the same pharmaceuticals.
The thing is people aren’t listening to the people that work within the system. BAD MOVE! Obama should have a panel of diversity of actual healthcare workers that have been doing this for years. These people don’t want to see people dying in the streets. Trust me they want a good system. They do deserve to be compensated for their training and for working in a very undesirable work environment at times for very long hours. The problem is utopia isn’t reality.
I believe Medicare fraud is 60k/year. I like the idealism but the truth is who polices the government? You would be handing over control of this system to them. The basic component is trusting the government vs not trusting the government. I think most informed down to earth individuals realize that government cannot be trusted. One thing your missing. How long does it take to train Physicians? 12-15 years. How many of the brightest students are going to go into Medicine if this happens.
@EmperorProzen
The fraud that occurs FROM Medicare and Medicaid? Yeah, i agree. I can tell you first hand how the Gov’t healthcare we already have short-changes private healthcare companies
@EmperorProzen That happens when some conservatives make cuts to healthcare! otherwise if we cut other things and not healthcare that shit won’t happen and it would be a perfect system.
But there will be fewer customers resulting in significantly higher programs. Anyway, you are forcing the bill of people who are uninsured on hard working tax payers. 46% of the people who are uninsured are voluntary, meaning they CAN pay for health insurance but CHOOSE not to.
Do you have an idea the kind of fraud that occurs in those programs (Medicare and Medicaid)?
So you are saying, “if a person is a chain smoker and smokes 4 packs of cigarettes every day, then it is the financial duty of hard working citizens to pay for that smoker’s operation”. What kind of FREE country is that? America isn’t like other countries because it is the land of opportunity. Here, we have a Constitution and we do things differently.
